This Privacy Policy describes how Pinr ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

We request access to your device's location (access coarse location and access fine location) to show your current position on the global map and to tag your travel memories with the correct geographic coordinates.
We request access to your device's camera and photo library (read external storage, write external storage, read media images) to allow you to take photos or select existing images to create "Pins" and travel memories.
We request access to record audio solely for the purpose of capturing audio notes if you choose to attach them to your memories. We do not listen to or record conversations in the background.
You have the control to allow or prevent your friends from sharing your pins and journeys. This preference can be managed in the Privacy section of the Settings menu.
To maintain a safe community and prevent the sharing of illegal or abusive content, we use automated systems (Sightengine) to analyze uploaded images for:
Images flagged as violating our Terms of Service are strictly rejected and deleted immediately. We do not retain rejected content.

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

You can delete your account at any time through the in-app settings (Settings > Delete Account).
If you are unable to access the app, you may request account deletion by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
